How to become a Full Stack Web Developer

What is a full stack developer?

A full stack developer is an engineer who can handle all the work of databases, servers, systems engineering, and clients. Depending on the project, what customers need may be a mobile stack, a Web stack, or a native application stack.

In fact, “full stack” refers to the collection of a series of technologies needed to complete a project. “Stack” refers to a collection of sub-modules. These software sub-modules or components combined together to achieve the established function while without the need for other modules.

Advantages: The full stack developers involved in a horizontal technical requirement, so that he/she can make a prototype design for a product very rapidly with his wide range of techniques. With the full stackability, they have a broader angle of views and a more active mindset. Moreover, they will be more sensitive to techniques and products. So, this kind of people can always have his/her opinions towards the product or design.

From another aspect, he/she can provide help to everyone in the team and greatly reduce the time and technical costs of team communication, technology docking. So many of them become entrepreneurs or as technical partners in start-up companies.

Disadvantages: It is precisely because of the horizontal technology development, some the full stack developers cannot be expert in one skill. Most of them who claim to be “full stacks developer” are only know a little about the multiple skills. As for how to make the architecture more suitable for the modular development, that’s a question.

How to become a Full Stack Web Developer?

If you want to become a full stack developer, you need to know HTML, CSS, JavaScript along with a backend but making the right choice in an era where there are a lot of options creates a lot of confusion for newbie developers.

The Bucket Technique:

As a part of this technique, we will study each technology just enough to start building sites.
My breakdown for frontend and backend development is as follows:

FrontEnd Development:

80% HTML
60% CSS
50% JavaScript
20% Database (Insert, Update, Delete)

After you finish learning all these technologies, you will be able to build good designs but it is not possible to build a stunning website without graphic designing skills. You need to either be a good designer or refer to some design which is good enough for your site to look amazing!
For that you can either refer to some websites which are already built by great designers or work on your own design before you get your hands dirty with coding!

b) PHP - Easy to learn, best for beginners, limited support of libraries

c) MEAN/MERN NodeJs - JavaScript which you already know from frontend, Difficult to learn JavaScript concepts like callbacks are used

Here’s Why Your Career Is Failing to Take That Next Step Up

Here’s Why Your Career Is Failing to Take That Next Step Up

Many of My students who at jobs come to ProCareer, they are bit worry about there career progress, Many of us have our career plans stretched out in front of us. Unfortunately, things in life don’t always go according to plan or how we would want them to. If your career is not taking that next step up you’d expect it to, there must be a reason for that. But what is the reason? That’s what we’re going to consider and assess today. Here are some of the most common reasons for a career not stepping up when it should.

 a) You’re on the Wrong Path: It could be the case that you’re on entirely the wrong path. If you are, this is not a problem that will simply resolve itself. You’ll need to reconsider your career decisions in life thus far and see where your skills should naturally take you in your career. It’s healthy and positive to reassess things and make changes to your career path if you feel it’s necessary. It’ll pay off in the long-term

b) Your Skills Aren’t Properly Up to Date: If you have a set of skills that are still stuck in the last decade, you’re inevitably going to cause problems for yourself. It could be exactly what you need right now. Employers want people who are technologically savvy and have a good understand of tech and modern concepts.

C) You’ve Take Your Success Thus Far for Granted: It’s not uncommon for people to take their early success a little too well. When you get too confident, you start to take your career for granted. That’s an unhealthy and unhelpful position for your career to be in. Always remind yourself of where you come from and where you started out. Don’t take success for granted because there are usually new challenges coming your way.

d) You’re Fading Into the Background: When you start to fade into the background, it’s usually because other people in influential places are taking what you do for granted. However, it can also be the case that fading into the background has happened because you’re not forceful with your views and don’t speak up at work as some of your other colleagues might. If that’s the source of your problem, it’s up to you to change how you can make your voice heard.

e) You’re Steady But Unspectacular: Being steady is not something to be ashamed of. All businesses need that one person they can rely to do to the boring things well. However, you might not be happy with this kind of limited role. Being unspectacular can work against your career progression if you’re not careful. Make sure you do something to get noticed so people don’t forget you’re even there.

As you can see, there are many reasons why your career might be unable to take that next step up. Address these problems as soon as you can if you want to start progressing once more.
